Why does vBulletin use relative links? All the internal links in the templates seem to be relative links rather than root or absolute links, e.g. PHP Code: rather than PHP Code: or PHP Code: Is there a reason relative links were chosen over root or absolute links? The reason I ask this is because relative linking makes it impossible to use templates in a subdirectory. If I want to use standard vBulletin templates with a custom add-on (e.g. PhotoPost), all the vBulletin templates must be modified, since the relative links will not work within the /gallery directory. |
