Upgrade process - why must we go through Alpha, beta and pre-release hoops?
 

Can the vBulletin team please look at the overall upgrade process?

I purchased version 4 and have been using version 3 for years. While upgrading to 4 from 3 I'm faced with Version 4 Alpha, Version 4 Beta, Version 4 Pre-release.... Why are these even in the upgrade process? These are beta and alpha code. The upgrade script should just skip to the actual V1.0 release and not alpha - beta and pre-release.
