Customizing vBulletin - custom start page / integrating it into an existing page
 

I want to great a custom homepage for the forum that displays all the newest information like a Facebook feed. So it will show if new people joined, and all new replies to topics, and all new topics.

I also want to show hot topics, and new topics.

Finally, I want to be able to feature some of the hot topics on the front page of my existing site so people can see what's going on in the forum.

My Question:
How complex is something like this and how easy is it to find people to do this sort of work for me?
