How do you optimize your VB Forum for a Keyword ?
 

If you have a new keyword and you'd like to optimize your VB forum for that keyword, how would you do it? I'm asking about new keywords that could be secondary to your site, i.e. not your site's primary keywords.

The options I can think of are;

1. Create a landing page for the keyword and include links to your fourm on that page
2. Use the keyword as the basis of a blog post and include links to your forum in the post
3. Start relevant threads with the keyword and include the keyword within your forum posts.

Anyone got any further ideas?
