Importing any mod xml freeze and fails in vb 3.8.4 patch level 1
 

hi guys

I was trying to import a mod via acp[xml] it start freezing and fails . it stays on updating default style...usually it give updating all styles installed.. i tell u full story..

its was working fine before on same vb version...it started seemingly after i installed a mod Dnp MusicBox and messed up . that mod was installed via install.php instead of usual xml import...one folder of that mod "music" went disappeared after installation. i given chmod 666 for that as the coder saiructid in instructions either chmod666 or chmod777.. my bad i given 666... since then i wasnt able to create music folder @ server side.. i got it back after contacting host support...n reinstalled the mod/product successfully... but after that incident no xml import is working . my host people said its nothing to do with server side and after their search n research :mad:[ they took 11 days] it a issue with vbulletin... but as it was working well before on same vbulletin version... i donno which is correct/ where is wrong??:confused:


if anybody can find out how to resolve this issue...
