Forum Symbols in User's Names = 404
 

Hey guys,

I've run into a problem... One of the forums I run requires a few "symbols" or "special characters" to be allowed within usernames. But the problem immediately arises that if a member registers with, say "?" or "?" in their name, viewing anything relevant to their profile 404's.

I'm pretty sure this is due to the URL changes; and I can vaguely recall a change in the handling of these characters in one of the more recent updates (I could be wrong)...

...But how do I go about fixing this? As I said, it is kind of NEEDED to have access to these characters (throughout the entire site, in thread titles and whatnot too) and just not allowing them isn't really an option.
