CMS Limiting Password length
 

I am currentaly running vbulletin 4.0.2 pl4 in combination with another script.
The other script allows for user information from vb also to act as member information in it.
I would like to limit the length of passwords members can enter in the vb script as the other script passwords are maxed at 20 charecters

Tables are linked to salt so this solution does not work.

Before you respond to the effect of: Why not just change the max on the other script?

It would require re-writing far too much code because it is linked to the salt and I cant change the salt length without causing havoc I've tried....

Im sure it is more than likely an easy change for vbulletin but if someone could point me in the right direction I would greataly appreciate it.
