To cut a long story short as it won't post when I submit a long post - was getting database error message but managed to login to the admin and run repair/optimise tables. However this told me:

Optimize Note: Table does not support optimize, doing recreate + analyze instead for all the tables

For the post table though it stated: post Check Warning: Table is marked as crashed

Now I can't get into anything - can't login to admin.

Meanwhile I'm getting constant email messages stating:

Table \forum\post' is marked as crashed and last (automatic?) repair failed

and the same for language table.

As I can't login does anyone have any ideas on what I can do next?
