Forum Advice needed about email verification on registration I run a small private forum and we moderate all new users. I have, for the past two years, enabled email verification at registrations, but now I 'm not too sure. My users are all seniors and I have have had several complain about "all the hoops" they have to jump through to register. Some give up because they don't carefully read the ( standard ) instructions. What is the downside of not verifying the email address at registration, if I turn it off? |
