Moving to a new server I have a website which has been using version 0.10 since about 2005, and as it has been working well have seen no reason to change or upgrade it. My client now wishes to implement a feature with a webcam provided by a third party and the current hosting will not be capable of running it. So I have to change the hosting provider. My question is regarding migration of the installation to another server. Can anyone point me to any advice/instructions on how to do this? I have migrated other CMS software recently which involved creating a backup of the files and the database, creating a new installation on the new server then copying the old files and database into the new installation but using the config files from the new installation. Does something similar work for phpwebsite? Any advice appreciated. regards, Mike Davies |
