Forum Upgrading Vbulletin to VB4.0.2
 

Hi everone,

This is the time for me to update my forum version 3.8.4 to 4.0.2. I am preparing for that. I read all instructions. I have a question.

According to the Vb4 requirements:

The system requirements for vBulletin 4 are higher than vBulletin 3 and are as follows:

* Minimum:
o PHP: 5.2.0
o MySQL: 4.1.0

* Recommended
o PHP: 5.2.6 or newer
o MySQL: 5.0.19 or newer

My PHP software 5.1.6 and MySQL 5.0.77. My MySQL enough but my PHP sofware is lower than requirement. Can I update my forum anyway? Will it be problem for me after updating?

By the way I wrote my server company they told there is nothing to do for PHP software.
