How do I ADD a second email to a member's account which will send a CC (Carbon Copy)

It appears that charter.net (an email provider) wants a copy of our emails to members sent to their postmaster whenever our member gets their regular email from our forums. They claim they need to review the content to make sure we are not sending out unsolicited emails, when in fact we are sending emails to subscribed customers.

In a member's CP where the email box is, I tried adding a comma and the extra email after it:

EXAMPLE:
PHP Code:
john@charter.net, postmaster@charter.net

But VB would not allow me to save the above, citing it was an "invalid email address".

Can you help?
