Avatar problem after upgrade from 3.8.2. to 3.8.5
 

I had a spare vBulletin 3.x license, so I started a new site.

Everything was working fine on 3.8.2 - after the upgrade to 3.8.5 my avatars no longer appear.

Steps taken so far:

I defined the following in /includes/config.php:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);
I reverted the postbit legacy template.

I rebuilt the icon cache via the adminCP.

The avatars still do not show on posts or in the usercp.

Any suggestions?
