CMS Can't repair MySQL tables - Error: corrupt During uploading a new style my vbulletin page paused, then became unavailable for about an hour (not sure if this was coincidental to the style upload). Now I have 3 tables in my db that the maintenance>repair/optimize tables page tells me are corrupt; attachmentviews, blog_views and threadviews. Phpmyadmin tells me these 3 tables have a #130 - Incorrect file format error and all 3 show zero length. The repair option will not work on the corrupt tables. I'm also getting some temp tables in my db such as aaggregate_temp_1268266200 and blog_aggregate_temp_1268271300. Has anyone got any ideas on how to fix this please? My host has offered to restore the 3 tables from a backup that we know to be working but could this cause any problems as they will have different timestamps if I restore? |
