Forum Fresh Install = Few Errors

I have not yet touched the default options contained within the AdminCP, I have left everything alone (aside from template modifications). So everything should be fine since it's a fresh install right?

Well my problems are:
1. When you quick reply, the ajax response is "database error" and I have to click Okay. It submits the post, but it doesn't show it instantly like if I was posting on here.

2. Post counts don't seem to be working... And so the #of replies for each thread doesn't seem to be working either.

3. (Not really a problem, just a quesiton) I've gotten 15 registrations since putting it up less than 24 hours ago. I'm unsure if some of these are bot registrations (haven't checked emails yet) I'm just wondering if vB4 already has spam registrations out there.
