Have version 3.8 but want to upgrade

I am currently running a version of 3.8 with the blogs and I also purchased the licence removal when i originally bought this.

I want to upgrade to version 4 but

Now we are on version 4 do I have to buy it all again ?? as this seems a bit harsh ??
