Buying for clients
 

I can see myself recommending vBulletin CMS to many clients, which I would purchase on their behalf and set up for them.

Problem:
Updating patches for security or otherwise will not happen because of the time factor. Considering this does it mean vBulletin as a CMS is not a wise choice?

I like the software as I have two copies myself. Never bothered with updating as those who register have to answer a question that only locals would know.

How can I get around the continuous updating of vBulletin?
