Forum couple of questions about login boxes and moving the style selector
 

First, how do I change the background color of the divs around the login textboxes, as shown below?

Second, how do I move the style selector? I've already copied the code from the footer and placed it in the header but seems like I am missing something because it doesn't display properly. In Chrome, it isn't even full width and is blank. Firefox shows it at full width but still blank.
