Forum Banned user's posts disappear
 

I'm currently running 4.0.2, but I've noticed that since upgrading to vb4, all of a banned user's old forum posts disappear to anyone except moderators/admins, whereas in previous versions, the messages would remain but a "banned" title would appear under the person's name. Is there a way to go back to this? Sorry if this has been answered before - I searched, but didn't find anyone with this exact problem.
