CMS CMS and Blog Permissions
 

I don't understand this at all.

CMS permissions

I want members in a usergroup to be able to promote to article. So in permissions I set a section so that usergroup can create content. However they don't see the "promote to article" link under posts.

Blog Permissions

I want to allow some usergroups to blog, or blog posts and other not. At the moment, any member seems to be able to blog a post.

I set permissions like this, but they can still do that. Where am I going wrong please?

There are so many blog permission settings, I can't seem to do this
