Suite Answered How I solved my attachment problems, upgrading 3.8.4 -> 4.02
 

Just wanna share a finding. I have a reasonable small database but didn´t succed upgrading it because of the attachements. They where in total under 2 gb so I thought they could reside in the db.

The upgrade script stopped at attachements several times.

Finally, I changed attachemnt storage from db to folder. And chmodded it:
"chmod -R 777 attachments"

Then, finally everything worked.
