CMS Changing domain
 

I have a question about changing my domain.

I want to buy a new domain name and have it as my main domain. Then set my current one up just as a redirect.

Now i know that when I get my new domain i have to get it pointed towards the IP of my web server. Now does that automatically mean that my entire site uses the new domain or is there something else i have to do to it?
