Would it be possible to rewrite urls?
 

I am planning to migrate from phpbb2 with seo friendly links which look like that:

http://example.com/name-of-the-threa...endly-vt46.htm
for topics
http://example.com/username,u,2460.htm
for users
http://example.com/forum-name-vf1.htm
for forum
Is it possible to rewrite my links in .htaccess so I do not lose all my seo work?

I have found this http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=176964 rewrite tool but it has only got support of standard phpbb2 -> vB option.
Would I get all the necessary help here to be able to convert my links with that tool?
