ImpEx Wordpress 2.9.2 to vBulletin 4.0.2 - Ariticles missing comments.
 

I am a vb newbie, so I may have missed something. One of many items on my list before we can go live will be to import our existing Wordpress articles into vBulletin 4 CMS from our xxxx.wordpress.com site.

First, I discovered that it cannot be done directly. I installed Wordpress 2.9.2 on a local linux server. I then exported the XML file from xxxx.wordpress.com and imported it into the temporary Wordpress 2.9.2 site just set up. That gave me access to the Wordpress MySQL files that ImpEx requires.

I used ImpEx 1.96 to import into vBulletin. The articles and users did import. I've seen elsewhere on this forum that catagory mapping is still needed. I agree strongly. However, even more important. We need to have the comments associated with the Wordpress articles to be also be imported. Will that be made possible in the near future?
