Forum 3.6.4 to verson 4 Upgrade Question
 

OK...so I'm going to do this in the next few months.....

But I have been using VB for...for....HECK....I since I can't remember when....so....MY SERVER really needs an upgrade.

According to the SPECS I'm reading about on version 4......it needs an UPGRADE BAD!!!!!

So....here is what I'm thinking about doing......WILL IT WORK????

1. Buy a new server with all the bells and whistles.
2. Install a CLEAN install of VB4 onto and get it working.
3. IMPORT the data from version 3.6.4.

Step 3 is my biggest question....will all of the data that I have stored for the last 15 years...that is on the database and working with version 3.6.4.....will it some how be able to be IMPORTED into version 4 and make it work????
