OK for the third time!!!!!

When you create a LAYOUT!!!!! how do you assign it to a specific page?????????????? OK I have installed flashchat it work fine and don't get off the subject! THIS QUESTION IS NOT ABOUT FLASHCHAT If I make a layout how do I assign it to the flashchat page or any other page for that matter?????????
