vB4 hooking in with obstart
 

Hi,

On my v3 board, I used to be able to have the output of a link display on certain pages of the forum by using the plug in system.

I did it like this in the old system:

First I set up a plugin with code like this:

ob_start();
require("./some_other_file_that_outputs_some_text.php.php");
$TheOtherText = ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();
Then I could simply insert the variable $TheOtherText in the proper template and the the other text would display.

This does not seem to work with the new system. Any idea on how to get this sort of thing working again?

And if there's a better way to display the output of a link inside a forum page, I'd be happy to do it that way.
