Forum Change subforums display
 

I would like to change my display forums, I found it really messy. I would like to leave it like IPB forums.

On red its the things i would like to change, are the subforums, then problem its that it show's to much forums on the same page, and that the user didnt like it.

Also in blue I would like to put the subforums of each forum, like IPB has it.

Its any way to change this things or just the first? please
