Albums - Uploading large images and auto-resizing
 

Albums are critical to building an effective social media site today. However, as cameras get more and more advanced, the raw image files from the camera keep getting large and larger.

My desire is to have large images, upwards of 10 MB per image, uploaded to my site via the album upload tool and then resized down to the limits setup for that user group. Right now, I can't get files larger than about 2MB to upload, I keep getting a upload failed message.

I've tried to increase the maxwidth and maxheight settings in the config file, but that's not working, is there something else that needs to be done?

Moreover, are there any plans to allow for video to be included in the albums system? I'll pay for the hosting if I can get an easy to use and fully integrated photo/video system.
