Word Censor not working with bbcode embedded
 

Hello.

I tried searching for info here but didn't come up with much aside from banning or infracting a member who is problematic so apologies if i missed the solution.

The problem i'm having is if a word is censored and someone adds bbcode to one of the letters within that word in an attempt to circumvent, then that word becomes uncensored.

Example:

Censored Word= Candy

Outputs tested:

candy= *****

Candy= *****

candy= candy

candy= candy

candy= candy

candy= candy

candy= candy

any ideas?
i'm on 3.8.1 but i believe i've seen this issue on other vB versions.
