Integrate vBulletin forums with content on existing website pages?
 

Hello,

I am a super-novice.

I am looking to add a members-only forum to our organizations existing website, and from what I've read, it's good to integrate the content from the website into the forum. What's tricky, maybe, is that the website material has to stay visible to anyone, while everything in the forum has to be limited to members I allow in.

Does vBulletin allow me to automatically send the text (or a summary and link) for all the articles I post on the public website into the appropriate forum, where members can comment on them? Will I be able to easily add links below the articles on the website directing people, once registered, to go to the forum to comment?

Also, would I be able to tuck other kinds of material into the member-only forum -- like pdfs and other files to download? I kind of envision having a members only site that is broader than a forum, and I think vBulletin has features that do that (blogs)?
