Back to 3.8 that is.

Used verison 4 on a live forums from the day it was released but i couldnt cope with it.

Most users hated it also :(

1 reason people didnt like it was the lack of working "addon's" such as the xbox live leader boards, setting your mood and other little addons we had on the forums. That alone isnt enough to downgrade i know.

Other reasons.
The layout we think is poor compared to VB3.8
The loading times seem to differ massively. 1 day everything is runnng fine, the next everything is running sooo slow.
Random errors. 4 times now (without changing anything) our forums have had new error msgs appearing accross the top of the screen, for no real reason, and due to the software being new, no details on how to fix them.

Above are just a few of the reason why i have gone back to VB3.8.

If you do want to try out VB4 please please install it on a test server 1st and try it before going live. No doubt i will be upgrading to VB4 once again, but not for a good few months.

I am not making this post to slate VB, as i do love VB, its just a warning post to people thinking about upgrading.

An upgrade to VB4 is great if you have a few memebers and dont use any addons.
