Forum Help on new vb installation to use utf-8 coallition
 

I am having trouble configuring my new installation to use utf-8 coalition in mysql.
I've enabeld the following line in includes/config.php
Code:
$config['Mysqli']['charset'] = 'utf8';
but still nothing the whole database and tables are using latin1_swedish_ci

After that I presume I will have to make some changes inside the administration menu in order to keep utf-8 characters and not translate them like this Ε
