This makes it confusing to follow threads in the archive. I understand that the archive is supposed to be for search engines, but I think some sort of distinction would be nice, because often, Google's results are threads from our archive. So when a guest goes to read the thread, they get confused. Nobody from vBulletin Solutions Inc. ever replied. And this is still an issue. For example, see Dody's second post at http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/archi.../t-332450.html -- it includes quoted text, but vBulletin doesn't tell the reader that the text is quoted. Here, it's only one line of quoted text, but in forums where people often quote half a dozen lines of text or more, it gets frustrating to reread those lines over and over. Dear staff: what do you think? |
