CMS Recent Forum Threads Forum Block as CMS widget?
 

I am wanting to duplicate the "Recent Forum Threads" shown on the Forum sidebar as a CMS widget.

I have tried using the recent activity widget but it does not behave same as the "Recent Forum Threads" shown on the forum sidebar.

What I am trying to do is show last "X" number of recent threads in a widget WITHOUT a thread moving up the listing if there is a new post in the thread so that the widget will always show last x number of new threads regardless of whether it has a post.

Is this possible? Seems like it should be fairly simple since it is already a "widget" in the forum sidebar. Just want to duplicate that block as a cms widget.
