Forum inviting mailing list to become members
 

I've got a member list of 150 people that I wish to invite to the newly built forum/website.

It's a requirement that these must become members to access the forum/website.

What I want to do is be able to 'speed' up the registration process somehow by sending them passwords, login details somehow. I don't relish the idea of adding 150 people having to approve each person, and am sure there must be a way to speed this process up and make it smoother for members and myself.

Any clues or pointers, or is the hard way the only way?
