vB4 Fixed Width Issues
 

Good morning everyone.

I'm trying to make a skin for vB4 in preparation for the transition from 3.8.x. Anyways, I have ran into an issue I cannot seem to solve.

The header of the site design is a different width then the overall width of the forum. Now this was not an issue in any of the vB 3.x.x versions.

Header images width = 1245px
Forum width = 917px

I've set the following Stylevar's
doc_width (Units = px) (Size = 917)
doc_margin (Units = px) (Use the 'top' value for all sides = No) (Top = 0) (Right = auto) (Bottom = 0) (Left = auto)


With those settings, the forum shows as the correct size and is centered. But the header images on top line up with the left side of the forum and hang over on the right side instead of centering.

If needed I can attach an screen capture and the header code.

Anyone know a solution to this problem?
