Forum Problems after conversion
 

I just converted my forum from 3.8 to 4.1 through FTP upload and then executing upgrade.php

Now I got 2 problems, at least at the moment:

1) Polish characters are not displayed correctly. Changing coding in phpmyadmin didn't help

2) Style graphics seems to be missing for some reason, both in my custom style and the dfault style

Please help.
