Forum Help Please! vB4.0.1 Installation Gone wrong!
 

Alright so I deleted all vb directories from my site to make a clean installation of vb4. The only thing I didn't know was that it would re-write my database. So all my users, posts, etc. are now gone! I do have a backup of the database but don't know what to do with it. I tried restoring it to the database that vb4 is in but that didn't work, all posts and members are still gone. Please help me I don't want to lose 2,000 members. The reason I did this was because when I tried to upgrade from 3.8.4 to 4.0 it would always say that the script didn't match with my version of vb. :/

Any help please?
