Forum Help with a rewrite rule
 

I used vBSEO previously, changed to Advanced Friendly URLs with the upgrade. I've just discovered that if I'm able to reroute people from
http://basicroleplaying.com/forum/basic-roleplaying/
to
http://basicroleplaying.com/showthread.php/
then the old links would still be valid.

Could anyone give me some tips with the Rewrite Rule? So far I've got:

RewriteRule (.*) http://basicroleplaying.com/showthread.php/$1 [R=301,L]
but that takes people to http://basicroleplaying.com/showthre...c-roleplaying/
not
http://basicroleplaying.com/showthread.php/
