Custom forum layout
 

Is it possible to edit the default forum layout to only display certain forums? This would ignore whatever settings admin have set in the admincp regarding layout and forum ordering and just pull forums based upon their ID (maybe?) and display those headers in whatever order I wanted.

I want to display certain forums above others based on a users usergroup. I need to be able to display which every forums I wish in whatever order I wish - and this must be easily customisable by simple changing PHP code rather than having to change options in the admincp (because I want this layout to be dynamic at the end-user level).
