CMS Header / logo problem
 

First, My apology to Steve and the team working so hard to help us with the cms implementation.

Now to a problem and a "solution".

I had put my logo in the right place. Properly linked to it. Changed the bg color in the header.

Home>the front page retained the vb logo. As did 3 other items in the menu in the header. But two of the items had the new color and logo.

I searched for days. But without seeing the obvious.

Here is the solution to my problem. And it might work for you.

First, I am on 4.0.1

Put yourlogo in the images portion of the forum. Then in the cp panel identify the link location. This is at cppanel>styles and templates>style manager (vB4 default style checked)>(at the dropdown menu on the right - select "style vars">in the images and paths > click title image and in the box, put images/*.* (name and extension of the actual logo file)

Click "the front page". Open it for an edit. In the "section information" go down to "style". Make sure that the "vB4 default style" is displayed.

This alone was my problem. Maybe this post will help someone else.
