Forum Reply to Thread vs. Quick Reply
 

I've seen a few threads on related topics, but nothing specifically mentioning this. I apologize if I've missed it.

A number of my members do not like Quick Reply for one reason or another. It's simple enough to hit "Reply" which brings you to the "Quick Reply" and hit "Advanced" to get to the advanced editor. However in VB 3, it use to be much simpler. You could get to the Advanced Editor quick and easy and many members of mine want it back.

The blue "Reply to Thread" button under the last post on the left has been the main issue. When I press it, I go to the Advanced Editor. Everyone else I've talked to, regular members and Admins alike, are simply brought to the Quick Reply when they try to use this button.

It would seem that it's working correctly for me as I can't see any reason that button should bring you to the Quick Reply since you're there to begin with. However, I find it odd that it doesn't seem to work for anyone else. Can anyone point me in the right direction with this?

I should mention I'm using 4.0.1.
