Suite Fresh Install??
 

I ran a search prior to composing this thread. Currently we are running 3.8.2 with vbportal. This version has been upgraded over the years since like version 1 or older. There is a lot of garbage in the directories and I was wondering if it would be best, possible or smart to do a complete fresh install of the new version 4.0.1 and then we would be starting with a clean plate?
Or

Will upgrading the old version and overwritting all the old templates wipe out vbportal and the other leftover baggage for me?
