CMS I can't move articles in CMS
 

I can't move articles in order of date posted. Let me start from the beginning. I am re posting articles to my CMS page from my original site. I can not set the order I want them in. I have changed the number allowed in the frontpage edit, I numbered the articles adminCP in the CMS control, I selected the article and did a move, I published... I have I think done as much as I can find and still the article will not move. Any ideas.
