Forum "Store CSS Stylesheets as Files" not working properly
 

Hi everyone,

I'm using vBulletin (Suite), version 4.0.1

I have tried to switch this option on to reduce traffic. It does, however, not work as expected.

When I turn the option on and click on "Save", vBulletin attempts to rebuild the style:
Rebuild Style Information
Default Style ... (Templates) () (CSS)

However, then it hangs and does not return to the settings page - nor does it actually activate the option. When I open the settings page again, it still shows "No".
The remaining styles are left untouched and vBulletin does not create static files for these.

The folders are writable, and vBulletin does create a folder "style00001l" and a .css file on the vbulletin_css folder. It does, however, not use any of these files and still includes all CSS in the page output.

Any suggestions as how to get around this?
