CMS ImageMagick 6 or GD and more questions about optimizing images
 

Hi,

Members are trying to upload full size images not optimized. Is there something I can do that will automatically see example: 1.24 meg file and optimize it for the member on the fly to example: 200k? I understand the setting that keeps an image to 600 pix wide. This is specific to optimizing the images so I can save bandwidth and server space, long term?

Also, out of the two image formats ImageMagick 6 or G, which one yields best performance and results?
