Forum Does the search_threadbit template get executed many times?
 

When you click the New Posts link, how many times does the search_threadbit template run? It appears to run for every line thread that is returned.

My problem is that when I assign a variable like this:

$mobile = 1;
vB_Template::preRegister('search_threadbit',array( 'mobile' => $mobile));
I then use the variable in the search_threadbit template like this:



For some reason the variable gets cleared after the first New Post result. Is this a bug? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
