Recently moved servers and upgraded to vb4. All looks well but the server seems very slow and hicups from time. Can anyone confirm if mcrypt needs to be installed along with memcache?

As both are not installed in my new server as I need to do this myself via shell commands why is proving to be a big obstacle.
