Section & Category Variables?
 

So basically I'm trying to add some tabs to the navbar based on sections of my cms. I've gotten this to work with no problems.

However when I click into any category the home tab becomes selected again and not the section tab as it was when in the main section.

I'm wondering if there is some way to call the section id # and/or category id # from a variable? But I am also open to accomplishing my goal in another way if you have a suggestion.
